How did I get stuck in 4WD Low?
After rapping on the transfer case motor and pushing two high it finally kicked out and went into 2H. While in two high i was able to switch in between 2H and AWD. While in AWD i shut off engine. truck shook and it knock me back down into 4LO. Any ideas? Its the encoder motor sensor.

Still no 4X4 engagement. So I removed the actuator and left if hanging by the wiring harness in order to make some observations. 1. When switching from 2 wd to 4wd the actuator would not engage. 2. With the truck started and in neutral, I switched from 2 wd to 4 wd and still nothing from the actuator.

Sounds like your truck is now a 2WD FF vehicle. It is almost impossible for it to be the transmission, but it could be the transfer case. To be honest, it’s the last thing I would expect, but who knows. Even so, DO NOT USE Auto 4×4. Unless they have changed something, the rear output shaft is driven in anything but Neutral.
