Can a GMC Terrain Nav work without OnStar?
As already posted, if you have the upgraded headunit that has Intellilink, it operates without OnStar. Be aware that the built-in Nav does NOT get updates without you paying for them from the dealer. Did you find the recommended reading relevant to this discussion?
Can a vehicle be switched to an OnStar service plan?
The new vehicle is equipped with OnStar hardware. If you still own the vehicle listed on your service plan, the plan cannot be switched to a different driver. Any service plan included with your vehicle purchase remains with the vehicle if it is sold or traded in with an active OnStar trial.
