How do I know if my AC capacitor is blown?

What happens when a central air blower does not start?
The blower motor starts, turning fan blades that circulate cold air from the evaporator coils, through the home’s ductwork and into each room. If the blower motor fails to start, nothing happens. The living spaces gets uncomfortable as the cooling cycle stalls. Most thermostats control both central air and central heat.
What to do if the blower motor does not work?
Make sure all the access doors are securely fastened in place. Even if a door is slightly skewed or not quite locked into position, the microswitch may sense that the door is fully open. If so, it will prevent the blower motor from operating. If the thermostat, breakers and access panel doors check out, the blower motor itself may have failed.
Why does no a / C and button will not light up?
Since we need the burb for the weekend he just grounded it at the A/C relay so that the compressor will always stay on when the car is on and we’ll have A/C. Question…..will this hurt the compressor with it always running and not cycling? Not really, as long as its not planned to be premanent.
Is there a button to turn on the a / C?
When i push the A/C button to turn on the A/C I get nothing. The little orange light on the button will not light up and the compressor won’t kick on. I did a few test and pulled the plug to the compressor and am not getting any power to the compressor when the button is pushed. Also pulled the relay and jumpered with a wire.
