How do you fix a jammed DVD player?
Here’s what to do:
- Unplug the disc player.
- Take out the screws securing the cover and remove it.
- Blow air into the mechanism to remove dust.
- Plug the player back in.
- Try ejecting the tray.
- If it doesn’t eject, look for something jamming the tray.
- Also see if the belt is damaged or broken or fell off.

I had the same problem with my 2005 tundra and I tried the fixes mentioned in the thread, disconnecting the battery and removing fuses, bu they did not work. What did work was turning in the CD player and inserting a thin piece of cardboard into the CD slot and this apparently triggered the auto eject in the CD player.
