How does the Cummins Engine ISX 450 hp compare to Caterpillar engine?
I asked how the ISX 450 hp Cummins engine with Eaton automatic transmission compares to the Caterpillar engine. He did not know the answer. I would just like to know if the ISX 450 hp Cummins is efficient, and has good mpg.

We have an ISX of that vintage and it’s alot of problems. it depends on if the cummins is one of the EGR motors. the EGR is a huge headache on the cummins engines. other than that, the ISX is for the most part, bulletproof. very strong engines. they are even better when they are not castrated.
