Both Rhino-Rack and Thule offer a limited lifetime warranty. As far as noise, they are both similar and much quieter then most competing brands. Thule has a few more options when it comes to roof mounted bike racks, watersports and snowsports carriers however Rhino-Rack has been known to make lower profile ski racks.
Can you shorten Rhino-Rack?
Yes, the 63″ Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks – Channel Mount part # RTC16 can be cut down to the size you need as long as you cut them perfectly straight to allow the end caps to go back on because at this time we do not carry them as a replacement part. The tracks are available in different lengths as well.
