They have a very nice rich exhaust note. But yes they are loud pipes, despite the baffles.

Do Rinehart slip ons have baffles?
Our Touring mufflers up to 2016, come with our standard 2.25” baffles, and we offer both a louder High Flow option (p/n 100-0111) as well as a Quiet baffle option (p/n 100-0110). For all other mufflers and systems, the baffles are not removable.

Do I need a tuner with slip-on exhaust?
Just slip-ons are okay with out a tuner. The cat in the head pipe is very restrictive. If you change the air cleaner also then a tuner will be needed.
How do you remove baffles from Rinehart pipes?
How to Remove Rinehart Baffles
- Remove the end caps on both mufflers by loosening the two screws with a 3/16-inch Allen wrench.
- Loosen the worm clamps that secure the heat shields to the mufflers with a flat-head screwdriver.
- Slide both heat shields off the back of both mufflers by hand.
Does slip on exhaust damage engine?
No, it will not damage the engine if it is designed by someone who has a clue what they are doing. However, when you bolt on an aftermarket exhaust, you will probably need to re jet or re map the engines fuel system.
