IEC 60502-1:2021 specifies the construction, dimensions and test requirements of power cables with extruded solid insulation for rated AC voltages of 1 kV (Um = 1,2 kV) and 3 kV (Um = 3,6 kV) for fixed installations such as distribution networks or industrial installations.
Is standard for HT cables?
4.2 HT CABLE: Overall galvanized steel strip armour and PVC outer sheath shall be provided. The specification for manufacture of cable shall be conforming to IS: 7098 (Part-II) 1985 (latest edition) for 11KV (E), 3-phase, 50 Hz, Earthed systems.
