Is it normal for the brake light to flash?
Is it normal for it to flash the brake light. It only does this when the e-brake is on when i park and when i go to drive away. Thanks if the truck is in park, and the brake is on and it still flashes there may be a problem with the shift indicator, does it show that you are in park?

Blown out light bulbs are the most common reason for why the brake lights not working but the tail lights are. Remove the screws from the bulb lens (which you can access through the trunk or see your vehicle repair manual to get the exact location). Push the bulbs and turn them counterclockwise to remove from the socket.
