The 5 speed trans is actually pretty good. Toyota is having more issues with their 6 speed, though the Sienna didn’t get that new design yet. Mine has been fine, so I agree this will likely be an isolated incident. Life time warranty that you did have to pay for? or they gave that as a result of tranny failure.
