When did my GMC Acadia headlights stop working?
I have just replaced my low beam headlights October of 2020 and now the driver side lights doesn’t work. On the dashboard the light that’s suppose to show when your bright’s are on, doesn’t come on anymore and I was in motion when I realized they had stopped working.
Where are the low and high beams on a GMC Acadia?
I have the exact same problem with my 2015 GMC Acadia. Running lights work, turn signal, flasher, brake lights all work. I have no low beam or high beam. You can hear the HighBeam selector clicking. All the fuses are good. The high beam relay clicks open and close. the low beam relay is behind the glove box. I am changing the bulbs tonight.

2011 Acadia denali, has hid headlights for night time driving, and traditional incandescent lights for daytime running lights (drl). I noticed the driver’s side drl bulb was burned out approximately a week ago (so ~5/12/2019), when I when to remove it to see what size bulb was needed part of the projector housing broke off with the bulb.
Why are my high beam headlights not working?
In the case of high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights, or Xenon headlights, there’s an additional component. To get the xenon and salts to plasma state, the HID generator bumps the voltage up to 30,000 V, then stabilizes around 90 V when the bulb is in operation. If the generator fails, the bulb won’t light.

Why are my headlights not working in high beam?
If just one bulb fails to work in either high beam mode or low beam mode, it may be the bulb. Most headlight failures that are limited to just high or low beams are related to a relay or the high beam control switch.
