Where is the hot air vent on a GMC Truck?
It’s underneath the passenger dash, where your feet go. Take off that black kick panel thing, and it will be right there. The passenger side does whatever the HVAC panel tells it to, but yes, when both sides are set to cold, the driver’s side is HOT, the passenger’s side is COLD. Anyone have a write up on this ?
Why are the drivers side vents blowing hot air?
Got in the truck tonight and the driver’s side vents are blowing HOT. doesn’t matter if it’s in VENT, A/C or where it blowing up/down/mixed, all I get is HOT. Passenger side works as advertised. Any ideas where to start?:hmm:

Pull the HVAC 1 fuse (panel on the drivers side of the dash, top front fuse). Turn the ignition key to run. Leave the key on for at least 1 minute. Turn the key off and put the fuse back in. Just the info I was looking for !!

What causes hot air to blow out of driver side vents?
2004 silverado – hot air blows out of driver side vents, pass side stays cold. Restart the truck, it returns to normal. Click to expand… Give this a try before you starting taking the dash out and buying parts. Same thing has happened to me a few times in the past. Usually just the passengers side.
Why does my 2005 Tahoe blow hot air?
My 2005 Tahoe hava AC giving hot air problem. AC would suddenly blow hot air just on the driver’s side while the passenger side still blew cold. The only way to correct it was to turn the car off and back on and then it would immediately start blowing cold again. This happens intermitently.

I have a 2004 Yukon with 160000 miles and about a year ago the AC would suddenly blow hot air just on the driver’s side while the passenger side still blew cold. After a few weeks it then stating blowing hot air on both sides. The only way to correct it was to turn the car off and back on and then it would immediately start blowing cold again.
