Why are my door controls not working on my GMC Sierra?

I own a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 sle, My drivers door controls have stoped working. No windows, mirrors, locks ext. Radio stays on after ignition off and door open.

Troubleshot the issue and found a pinched/broken ground in the door boot from the dash fuse panel to the door. After he ran a new wire and jumped it to the old connector, everything worked. All controls worked in the door.
