Why did my 2007 Jetta blower fan quit working?
2007 jettaBlower fan quit working. Garage told my daughter that it was blowing the fuse and she needs a new blower. I put a new 40A fuse in #22 (it was empty) I unplugged the connector from the fan, turned the switch to #4 position.

It melts and this particular part sends power to the cooling fan thermal switch AND the Fan control module. The fan module also sends power to the a/c compressor.
