Why does my door lock not work on my GMC Sierra?
Door locks, windows, mirror control, do not work. Radio NOW does NOT continue to play until door is opened. No beep when key is left in the ignition. All happened at the same time.
Why is my power door lock not working?
Power door locks and driver side power window not working. Keyless remote will not open doors although when pressed, the interior lights come on so I don’t believe it is an issue with the fob battery. Other power windows work, just not the driver side. Remote mirror control on the door handle works.

I recently bought a 2004 gmc Sierra used (same controls as silverado) and no power to left door. I tested the orange hot, and it was hot. I called dealership and they said drivers door module from sounds of it. I ordered a used unit from lkq and received it.

Are there any problems with Chevy Colorado door locks?
When I reconnected battery, I used key started truck and at 20 mph the locks worked like normal. 😆 GM has issued a technical service bulletin (TSB) #PIT3164B to discuss a problem with door locks and power windows on 2004-09 Chevrolet Colorado pickups and 2004-09 GMC Canyon Pickups.

Where are the power locks on my car?
There is a single relay that controls both the power locks and the driver’s side window, located inside the driver’s side window switch. It can get stuck open, either from the BCM sending it into safe mode or, in my case, I think, because of extreme cold.
