Why does my GMC Yukon Denali XL not heat?
I will have the heat on and the air coming out of the vents is cooled air. 2003 GMC Yukon Denali XL started blowing air out of defrost after a battery change. Hopefully its just a bad mode actuator. Rear a/c and heat not changing to heat staying cold and not changing from ceiling to floor.

I have a 2005 Yukon XL and the drivers side air is blowing HOT (independent of what the climate control is set to) while the passenger side is blowing the correct temperature! There is a single screw under then under the edge that is 7mm like the read and a deep 1/4 socket will remove it. Then the actuator you can get out as well, but with a shallow 5.5mm.
