Why is my new headlight bulb smoking?
Brand new bulbs usually smoke a little to get all the dust/oil off. You are supposed to clean the glass with an alcohol prep pad before installing. Granted, if you got really cheap bulbs, there could be something wrong with them….

All the fuses are good. The high beam relay clicks open and close. the low beam relay is behind the glove box. I am changing the bulbs tonight.
