Why is my Silverado no crank no start?
I checked the start (8:30am ) before doing anything else and the engine cranked (slowly) but fired and ran on the first attempt. All dash display normal, the alternator charge at 14V and nothing out of the ordinary. I’m pretty sure something was iced up but I don’t get how any thaw took place with conditions here.

If the fuse is o.k. if you have a test light or multi meter test the terminals the fuse plugs into,there should be two terminals in the fuse box.Test for power on one of these terminals while someone is trying to start the vehicle.If you have power then the start circuit is good and the fault is in the starter itself.

Why is the starter not working on my Duramax?
The bigger one in the picture above is the starter relay,if this is clicking then the relay is most likely working and o.k.If the fuse looks to be o.k. then most likely it is working as well and then this leaves the starter itself at fault causing this no starting issue needing replaced.
