        Sorry to jump straight in with requests but have just bought a 2007 VW FOX 1.2 and the power steering has packed up have run vagcom this afternoon and coming up with the following. I have stripped the bumper off and got to the wiring and have voltage to the main power input and with the ignition on have voltage to the other multi plugs.

        The steering wheel lock is connected directly to the ignition cylinder. In order to unlock your steering wheel, please use your left hand to wiggle the steering wheel left and right with significant force. At the same time, apply your right hand to turn the ignition key from the LOCK position to the ACC (accessory) or START position.
