How to fix automatic lift gate hatch not staying up?
When the motor realizes that it’s working too hard to try and open hatch it shuts the hatch automatically. So on this one by replacing the rear hatch struts it should fix our problem of it not staying up. This also applies to Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburbans with automatic rear liftgate hatches.
