Suspend that by a zipstrip or wire so it doesn’t stress the wire. Then once I had room, I used a small pick to get the old spring out. Now take the new spring and slip it in using a flathead screwdriver to wedge/slide it into place. Keep in mind that if you use a weaker spring that you should cut it longer than the old one.
