How do you turn off daytime running lights on a 2014 GMC Sierra?
Just turn the light knob to the left–turns them off. You have to do it every time you start it but no biggie—mine are LED.

I have an 04 GMC Yukon XL SLT (3/4 ton, 4×4, quadrasteer) and the DRL’s just do not work anymore. I see lots of folks wanting to disable them, but I’d like to get mine working again.
Where is the DRL socket on a grill?
Now that you know they are not working, get two new bulbs. Locate the drl socket behind the lower part of the grill. There is a release tab on the side of the socket (see pic). Squeeze that tab as you turn the socket to the left, or down.
