Rotate the engine so the cam lobes are 180 degrees from the lifter surface. Slide a feeler gauge between the lifter and the camshaft. The intake valves should have a clearance of at least 0.15mm and no more than 0.22mm. For those of you with SAE feeler gauges, round those to 0.006″ minimum and 0.008″ maximum.
