Is the Vortec 6000 6.0L a V-Max engine?
Since the 6.0L V-Max engine is no longer an option, you can now get the 6.2L with max towing (NHT) package OR Z71 suspension, whichever you prefer. The engine in the truck has nothing to do with the suspension.

The 6.0L Vortex Max was a “special” engine only option, had nothing to do with towing package. You could get it with NHT max towing OR Z71 suspension (I opted for the Z71). The name Vortex Max was specific to that engine. NOT the suspension package of the truck.

Along with the more powerful all aluminum engine, the Vortec Max also comes with 4 wheel disc brakes, bigger beefier 9.5″ rear end, and beefed up transmission along with larger front sway bar.
