Is there a problem with the Freeze Switch on my Kenworth T370?
It has had an intermittent A/C problem since new. Dealer has been no help other than changing some parts, including TXV, some at their expense, some at ours.
Why is the a / C CLUTCH always running in Kenworth?
Set to full cold turn on AC ,idle will go up a few rpm to compensate for compressor drag and engine fan will kick in providing air flow over coil ,when desired temp is reached thermostat will cut off compressor. So depends on outside ambient temp how long compressor runs.
