Is there an issue with my dual climate controls?
My 2004 2500HD with dual climate controls (manual) has an issue. No matter where I put the slide selector, I get full hot heat. Yesterday was 70 degrees and obviously it was extremely noticable. I thought I had noticed something this winter but it was intermittent.

Where is the climate control on a GM Truck?
The a/c does work but the dial has to be on the dash setting even though it doesn’t blow from the dash only the defrost setting, and still no heat on the rear climate control.
What happens to the climate control when the battery is disconnected?
Here was my understanding. When the battery is disconnected the actuators controlling the climate control can lose their position. They think they are in the cold position when they are really in the hot. Disconnecting the battery again won’t correct it – it’s an on/off thing with the key.
