Why does my Silverado 4L60E have lame shifts?
Apparently on the newer trucks the engineers re-designed (un-desinged?) the 4L60E so that it has incredibly lame shifts. The converter never really locks up like you would think. There’s something called Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM) used to make the converter lock-up almost undetectable.
