C4 Corvettes used two designs of tail lights. Round lights for 1984-1990 and a more squared off or oval type design for 1991-1996. (1990 in ZR-1’s) A very common issue with even low mileage C4’s is cracking of the tail light housing at the point where the mounting bolts secure it to the rear bumper cover.
