Why are the radio controls on my steering wheel not working?
My radio controls on my steering wheel have completely quit working. They didn’t stop working all at once though. The mute and seek buttons quit working but the power and volume buttons worked for about another week and now none of them work. All the cruise control buttons and rockers still work perfectly.

Are there any steering wheel controls that work?
The only controls that work on my steering wheel is the cruise controls. Has anyone for sure identified the corrective action on this? I am having this same exact intermittent problem.
Why does my steering wheel not work on my Audi?
The first is a fuse needs replacing (but I don’t know where to find the fuse this might relate to), and the second issue – rather more costly – could be the ‘clock spring’ is knackered….although I understand that would also affect the air bag and horn. The horn works and there are no warning lights for the airbag.

I am having the exact same problem in my 2007 Maxima with a slight difference. So, no controls on the left side steering wheel work (volume up down and blue tooth/seek), but all controls on the right side do (cruise).
