As far as common problems, i have a 700 carb twin and a typical issue is the carb intake tends to crack on them due to the carb mounted to the frame and vibrations. My speedo wasnt working when i bought it but was a $60 issue to replace a burnt out hall effect sensor. Other than your price id say all day get it!
What kind of exhaust valve does a Polaris snowmobile use?
When we were in Canada riding last week my buddies 2002 800X with 3800 miles on it broke an exhaust valve and also took out the piston [?] [ !]The dealer in St Zenon told us this is nothing it happens all the time all sizes 500, 600, 700 and 800 and that’s why Polaris is making new style heavier type valves at around $100.00 per side?
What kind of valve broke on Polaris sled?
00 xcr 800. Pulled valves on 2700 mile sled. They were pretty dirty. Had a hell of time cleaning them. Had them all clean and installed, broke the stud right off the top. Unbelieveable.
