I have a 2006 GMC Duramax 3500 crew/long, and I’m happy with it. I only tow a 5K lb lightweight 5th, so it doesn’t get worked too hard.
Is there a problem with my Duramax truck?
If it’s a 4×4 all of the classic Duramax trucks from 01-07.5 have the issue. And if you have any other trucks all Chevy and GMC trucks 1500, tahoe, etc. from 98-07 have the same issue.
