Is the AC in my truck blowing hot air?
I have a 2006 Kenworth T600. Just replaced ac compressor about a month ago, ac work fine for a few weeks then started to intermittently blow hot air. Air flow is pretty weak when it does come on and even when it’s blowing warm air.
Can a blower motor be pulled out of an AC unit?
Pulled the blower motor out, it does not spin easy. But hooked to power. It blows like it should. Let it run for around a minute. Tomorrow will check and see how many amps it pulling. I turned the ac on with the blower motor out. Then turned on the sleeper blower. It ran that way, and AC compressor was staying locked in.
What’s the problem with my 1995 AC blower?
1995 T600 ac blower kicks on, then like a relay kicks out. And it cuts back off. Wait 45 seconds to 60 seconds and kicks back on for a few seconds then back off again. Wondering if this could be the blower motor. Overloading the breaker/relay, then when it resets kick back on again? Not sure if these trucks have relays on the fan or not?

There is no charge for this service, but standard message and data rates may apply. this is probably exactly what you are thinking most likely that blower motor is overloading the circuit breaker. once it reset it will work for a min and then set back off. Why is my air blower not blowing out the vents?
Highway Hypnosis, that blower motor has a bad bearing and/or the squirrel cage is rubbing. See how it stops immediately when you take power away? It should spin freely to a stop. And that noise also tells me something is wrong.
