Is there a light on the climate control?
All three of the climate control dials (fan speed, position, temp) have no light in the dark (do not illuminate when headlights are on). The green “o”n button works all of the time – when you turn A/C on, defrost, etc. There does not seem to be a problem with the controls alone, just no light. Adjusting the dim/brightness does not help.

Reassemble and plug it back in, should work like new. I looked for equivalent LED replacements at Radio Shack but they only had colored 12v 5mA LED’s ( Red – Blue- orange- yellow- green) The sales associate looked for clear/white leds and could find nothing available in thier catalog.
Why is my climate control panel not working?
You will need to reprogram the new module to the vehicle order, you will need a scanner with this function. If you do not have 12V move your black lead from pin 8 and put it on a known good ground. If you now have 12V then you have a ground issue. If you don’t have 12V power supply wiring issue.

The first post above says I had no lighting behind the control buttons on the AC and the radio. The second post states no back lighting on any of the buttons from the VTM-4 switch to the right. As far as finding the fix, but not the problem, it could have possibly been as simple as a bad fuse.
