What does it mean when your radio goes dark?

Why does my dash screen keep going black?
NOW – the screen is on but black.. slightly illuminated- I can tell it is getting power. I turn the vehicle off- remove the key and the dashboard screen stays on. the screen is on but black.. slightly illuminated. Why is the radio working but no display?
The radio works fine just no display.. Now we are being told it is possibly the radio itself that needs to be replaced. Did you have any luck fixing your display? I have Fusion 2013 SE. and the same problem.. so upset.
Why is the radio screen blank on my Ford Escape?
I had sound, and could move the radio presets like normal but the screen is completely blank. I have no idea if it was related to giving a jump or not but that’s the only different thing that happened today with the car. Anyone else had this?
