Why does my Chevy S10 not start up?
Check oil pressure when you’re trying to start. Fuel pump runs for 2 seconds when the key is put in the run position. Then the fuel pumps power is routed through the oil pressure sensor until it receives a pulse signal from the distributor. Low oil pressure would prevent the circuit from changing over.

I have a 1996 cheb s10 4.3L v6 vortex, I change spark, wires,distributor, rotor button, fuel filter, crank sensor, cam sensor, when I tried to drive it. Why does my Chevy S-10 not start up?
Once the truck starts and is running you can remove the jumper to the fuel pump and it will continue to run. The only thing i can think of is that you are not getting the priming signal to the fuel pump, that the ECM if faulty. It turns over fine.
