Why does my GMC Terrain make a whining noise?
If you just removed the bolts and then just bolted it back up you will definitely need an alignment before doing much driving. If the front end camber is out of spec very much it will wear the tires out in no time. In 4wd noise increases with speed. Whine almost a growl comes from the front differential. Louder on the gas than off. Louder while turning. 82,000 miles on the rig. My drivers side transfer case axle seal is leaking and looks like it has for a while. Never leaves a spot, must leak while driving. Fluid is full, I have checked.
