Are there any issues with the Touareg engine?
Nox sensors and tank heaters are your only worry and they are not engine related. There are just too many to list…. They’ll likely never have timing chain problems. I’ve wrenched on and completely disassembled and inspected these engines in marine applications with 1000+ hours of WOT on them. Never seen any chain issues.

When did the TDI Touareg V10 come out?
Thinking of getting a 2009-2012 model. Would love a V10, but I am scared of the maintenance $$$$$$. Will be used for pulling a jetski or motorcycle trailer, occasional camping and a little offroading. And maybe a camper someday.
