To determine how many hours your engine has on it, consult your vehicle’s instrument cluster. The rider information center (4) is located within the instrument cluster. Use the mode button (3) to toggle through the display and find the engine hour meter.

Disconnect both battery terminals. Touch both terminals together and hold for 10 seconds. Reconnect to battery. That should do it.

Hello, I was reading your posts and thought I’d ask a question about the engine warning light. I am new to UTVs, just bought my first a used 2012 Polaris 800 XP. The engine light came on after driving it about 20 min. There doesn’t seem to be any performance issues. I followed the advise (above) and my code is 0 51 and the fault code is 3.
Why is my engine light on on my Polaris ATV?
This can be caused by holes in the tubing from the air box to the throttle body. Have you run your vent lines into the pod?
