That would explain it, the 2015/16 doesn’t have a lower engine cover. Part # 32 is a little splash shield for 2015/16. Part #8 is the lower engine cover for 2012 thru 2014. When they went with the CVT transmission on the 15/16s the existing engine cover wouldn’t work.

Is it okay to take the bottom engine splash Shield off?

Bottom engine splash shield broke/tore. Okay to take it off? Was coming back from class today and heard a scraping noise, got back to my office and the shield is just hanging there. Should I just remove it for the ride home and purchase another one?
