Is Ohio good for snowboarding?
Located in Ohio’s snow belt, Alpine Valley gets the most natural snow out of all the resorts in Ohio. Here, snowboarders and skiers can enjoy the slopes, and there’s a snow tubing area for non-riders, too. Unlike many of the resorts on our list, most of the trails here are wooded trails that are ungroomed.
Is Turoa or Whakapapa better?
Whakapapa is the biggest ski field in New Zealand. With a total of 44km of slopes, you get the most bang for your buck. Of the Mt Ruapehu ski fields, Whakapapa is the one closest to Auckland and Taupo while Turoa would be closer for skiers coming from Wellington.
What mountains do not allow snowboarding?
Alta is one of only three U.S. ski resorts to ban snowboarding. The other two are Deer Valley, also in Utah, and Mad River Glen in Vermont. Once upon a time, Colorado resorts were on that list, too.

When do I drop my kids off at Mt Ruapehu?
Drop them off at 09:00 and collect them at the end of the day at 15:00. Don’t be outdone by the kids and make sure you can keep up with them! Bundle yourself an All Mountain lift pass, ski/boots/poles OR snowboard/boots and two 1hr 50min group lessons with our 13+ yrs option.
Do you need warranty for Mt Ruapehu season pass?
As this “Free Youth” Season Pass is provided at no charge, no warranty is needed. If the accompanying Adult Season Pass has a warranty claim, this Pass must then be upgraded to full price at the time of purchase or it will be absorbed into the warranty claim and cancelled.
