What is POD Farm?
Pod Farm, which replaces Line 6’s earlier Gearbox software, is a VST, RTAS and AU plug‑in for Mac and PC that offers Line 6’s amp and effect modelling for guitarists, bassists and even vocalists. There are two versions: regular and ‘Platinum’. It’s essentially the software version of a fully expanded Pod X3.
Is POD Farm 2.5 free?
Upgrading to POD Farm 2.5 is free for owners of POD Farm 2.
How do you activate pods in Farm 2?
Go back to the Line 6 Monkey screen and click on the Activate Purchase button. A window will pop up, prompting you to enter the license key. Activation turns the Add-On features “on” in your POD Farm-compatible hardware, so they can operate in the POD Farm 2 standalone application and/or POD Farm 2 Plug-ins.
Can I use POD Farm with any interface?
The POD Farm™ version 2.5 software is designed to work with any Line 6 USB audio interface, as well as any other manufacturers’ audio interface device which includes a Core Audio (Mac®) or ASIO® (Windows®) audio driver.
Can you use POD Farm with any USB interface?
Hardware Independence now allows POD Farm 2.5 to be used with any USB audio interface. We recommend POD Studio™ interfaces. They have the lowest latency and best signal-to-noise ratio for guitarists.
