Why are the brake lights on my Astra not working?
Have just found that the brake lights and reverse lights on my Astra have stopped working. Tried changing a bulb or two, but makes no difference and anyway all the bulbs look ok.

Why are my front lights not working on my Astra?
So if the front lights are working then it is unlikely to be a fuse ( handbook suggest fuse 9 passenger fusebox). Each rear cluster has a seperate earth point, as one is on the hatch door and the other on the body work, so if all are out on that side it is unlikely to be an earth issue. Check your bulbs by putting them in the side that works.

Fuse Box and Light Switch. You have to find the fuse box or the power distribution center (PDC). You will get the fuse panel under the dashboard and the PDC under the hood. The brake light switch is also to be found under the dashboard and check if its plunger touches the brake pedal arm.
