I mean EVERY light i.e. dome light, head lights, the lights for the radio and gauge cluster. I thought it could be an alternator problem until I had it tested and the test read that it was working properly. Next guess: the battery terminals but they won’t corroded at all.

I did a bit of looking into this, and according to GM, the P1638 sets if the PCM is not getting the correct signal for the alternator load, and they suggest checking the connections at the alternator and at the PCM.
