Why does my 97 Chevy truck not start?
97 Chevy truck won’t start when it gets cold?? When ever it gets cold my truck will not start. Seems to be fuel pressure but can’t smell any gas like it was flooding. It does’nt even fire like it wants to start.

Why does my Chevy 5.7L hard start?
Lol, its the only problem a 11 year old truck has. We can turn the key and wait for it to energize before cold starts. It sounds like the fuel pressure regulator to me. If it has to crank when cold but not when it’s warm, it sounds like it is bleeding off fuel pressure while it sits for a while. How many miles on the truck?.

How long does it take to fire a hard start Chevy?
Good Morning island auto, well your mention of that kind of pressure does sound a bit high, but the gauge you are using may have an error, generally even if the fuel did drain back to the tank it only takes a few seconds to be replenished and even if the system contains air, I would expect some firing to happen initially.
