Why does my car AC air smell bad?

You have to remove the sound panel (two screws) under the glove box and remove the glove box at the hinge (three screws). Then you can see the module. It has a pigtail wire that plugs into the blower. Release the plug latch with a screw driver and disconnect it.
Why are the vents on the passenger side warm?
Repairs for this problem = A/C compressor, orifice tube and drier replaced about 1 year ago. The problem I have is that when you turn the ac on the cool air only comes out the 2 vents on the passenger side. The 2 vents on the drivers side have warm air blowing out. A/C is controls are set to max air and max cold on the temp control.

It will not be apparent if just looking at freon gauge pressures- they will be normal. But a system that is 1/2 pound low will cause the passenger side vents to blow cool or cold air, and the drivers side to be less cool or even warm on this car. There is simply not enough freon capacity in the system to cool the air to the drivers side.

Can a GMC Envoy Air Conditioner blow out front vents?
Will not blow out front vents, only floor and defrost positions. Numerous tries to reset and will not work. Air conditioner won’t blow from dash vents but will from the back vents have tested the blower motor and works great. And checked cables but nothing else is working

This 2007 GMC Envoy Denali came in with the complaint that the blower motor would not work. The customer stated that they had removed the blower motor and connected it to battery voltage and ground. The blower motor worked under this condition. This vehicle also has auto temperature controls as indicated by a digital display.

I changed the battery and the air stopped coming out of the top vents works only through the defrost vents and the floor. The inside climate adjustment always shows 50 degrees but when it’s rainy or humid it goes down into the negative numbers then shows on the dash ice possible.
