Why does my Chevy truck door not open?
The power locks work like they’re supposed to but even when it’s unlocked it won’t open! It feels as if the door isn’t unlocking, even though it is! The handles are not jammed and geelel as if its locked when you pull on them!
Why does my driver side door lock not work?
The windows and the locks are on two separate circuits. The only part that these two have in common is the master switch. Of course it is also possible that the wiring harness between the driver side door and cowl is corroded and that some of the pins are to corroded or even broken off and do not make contact.
Why are the doors on my truck not unlocking?
What’s happening is all 4 doors will NOT unlock using the fob, passenger button or driver button. The only way to get into the truck is using the actual key. The power locks will lock just fine. When I press any unlock button, there is a clicking near/in the interior fuse box. There is no power going to any of the locks when I try to unlock them.

I recently purchased a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab NBS. I was aware of the doors not unlocking when I bought it. I figured it would be an easy fix, but that hasn’t been the case.
Where is the door lock relay located on a 1998 GMC Sierra?
The door lock relay is located under the center of the dash. Wow! This is probably why none of my searches are producing informative results. I also currently own a 1998 GMC Sierra truck and the dash looks identical. I have the Chilton manual for my 98′ but it never dawned on me to look.
Is there a lock button on the passenger side door?
Yes – the power window and lock button on the passenger side door do not work. The buttons from the drivers side for the passenger side do not work either, but the drivers side window and lock work fine! Why does my GMC Duramax rear door not unlock?
The rear locks won’t budge (have to unlock manually). Looks like it could be the on/off relay switches. Is this very difficult to replace? Any instructions out there how to do this? Do I need special tools. Can I find the switches in my neighborhood auto parts store? :help Please

Why does my front door not open from the outside?
The outside not working is really strange. It has been so long since i pulled the panel off i cant remember if there is a way to see the inner door handle cable without completely pulling it off. Can you see if from behind the window switches if you pull it off?

Re: Door won’t open from inside or outside… HELP??? Roll the window down and carefully push the door panel away at the top right above the latch (rear of door) then look down inside the door at the latch and figure out which rod fell of the latch.

If you then get the door open . At the rear door ,there is a hidden Latch that only becomes visible when you pull on the Door Handles , check the latch with the white Striped arrow (pointing left) , as you pull the handle it should poke out a little as you see in the pic , if not feel it with your hand .
Why does my front passenger door not open?
I have fixed almost the same problem on my w140, on the front passenger’s door: sometimes it would open from outside, sometimes not… but would always open from inside, and no locking problem on top of the handle issue. I would say that without opening the door, that’s not possible.

Thanks to the good people here at Benzworld.org I was able to fix my driver’s side door lock without involving my mechanic or having to buy parts. This seems to be a huge issue with W202’s and something that many of you will also deal with. My driver’s side door lock stopped working.
Can you open the rear door of a Mercedes Benz?
No the door wouldn’t open from either the inside of the outside. The only way I think I can get the door open is to remove the two screws that hold the striker/latching plate that is fixed to the body. But the only way to get to them is from either the trunk or fender well.
