Why does my GMC Acadia not lock or unlock?

I attempt to unlock using the door button, still no response (other that the electrical “clicking” under the dash). I attempt to unlock with the key fob, no response. At this point, I am forced to manually unlock any door that I need to open.

Can a GMC Acadia SLT not be shut off?

Why are the doors on my GMC Acadia not opening?

Like the title reads, I have been experiencing internittent locking/unlocking issues with all doors. Scenario: I pull into the driveway and place the car in park (at this point, I expect the doors to unlock) the doors do not unlock.
