Why does my Silverado Sierra not unlock the door?
I can hear the motor working in the door but it just doesn’t seem to want to unlock the door. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this. Thank you in advance for any help. I’m no mechanic, but I had this happen in my 2009 before I traded it. I believe it was what they called the “actuator”. That’s not too bad.
Why is the driver door lock not working?
All other doors are ok, but the driver door doesn’t unlock half of the time. If the truck sits for a period of time (hour or longer) it seems to work, but not always.

What’s the problem with my Sierra 4WD door lock?
My 2009 1500 Sierra SLE 4WD driver side door lock does not work. The electric lock control will not work either door, nor does the key fob lock/unlock driver door. So I have to manually push down door lock and use key to unlock/open driver door.
