Why does the AC only blow out the defrost vent?
Click to expand… Mode door actuator for where it’s blowing. Blend door actuator for hot/cold. These are more likely culprits than the control module in the front. The rear control module being bad is more common. How can I post this message for help?

See if this fixes the problem. Many of GM’s AC control heads have a built in reset feature that when power is removed and then applied it will go through a cycle that activates all the vent doors and mode doors. It’s worth a try.
Why are my front vents on my Chevy Trailblazer not working?
Recently my front vents stopped working on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. I’ve tried to recalibrate by taking out the fuse, waiting a couple minutes, putting the fuse back in, turning the car to run, letting it go through its motions, but that didn’t work. The air blows cold, but it is only coming out at the feet, side vents and defrost.

Here’s a few you can book directly with. Battery died and changed out battery and all efforts to fix the ac vents failed. Will not blow out front vents, only floor and defrost positions. Numerous tries to reset and will not work. Air conditioner won’t blow from dash vents but will from the back vents have tested the blower motor and works great.

Is there air coming out of the front vents?
And nothing no air will blow out the front vents. sometimes it works but 80% it will not. but i still have air from defrost and floor vents. Ac will not blow out of vents. Just on defrost & an the floow. No air is coming from any vents except for defrost.
