We have a security light with PIR sensor which has been in use for a couple of years. In last few weeks, in the morning it’s always permanently on. It behaves normally of an evening when I walk past it – it triggers on, then goes off after a few minutes. But most mornings, it’s stuck on and I need to power it off and then back on again to reset it.
What’s the life of a led security light?
Look at LED security lighting with sensor, cheaper to run, around 25,000 hour life span. Will consider, but I thought these were more expensive up front and much dimmer. I like the bright light coming on should anyone start heading for my side gate!
